What do you suppose Jesus meant when He said this...???

If you are speaking about faith without works then it is like the Pharisees of the day. If you say you are a Christian you must live the life of a Christian. That means living as Jesus did when on this earth. If you say you are a Christian and turn your back on your friend in need. Your inside or soul is not clean you are filled with uncleanliness. That is what is meant by these words. If you claim to be a follower of Christ then live by the laws He gave us. Do not go to church functions in finery and then go home ping a poor child and refuse to look at his condition or help them. That is not a Christian. Christians will go out of their way to help others showing example of Jesus here on earth.
