I meet this guy months ago.?

He wanted to take me out but we never got around to it because of my schedule. So when I saw him again at a gathering he was eyeing down the whole time. Ever move that I made he was right there. He was acting like he wanted to talk to me but afraid too. So when I asked him about taking me out( when i threw in a little teaser..saying if his significate other doesn't mine) he responded saying that his significate other doesn't live here and that she is not his girlfriend but their talking. so i ask when can he take me out he was like he don't know. should I ask him again?
